- Students new to directed learning are asked to sign up for an orientation
session
- Small group orientation sessions provide important information
about our school's programs, as well as a chance to ask
questions specific to your needs

| COUNSELLING |
- A counsellor is available, days and evenings, for academic
and career guidance

| CHILD-MINDING |
- Childcare is provided for the babies and children under
6 years of age of LEC students (space is limited)
- For our young parents, we also provide the following supports:
- Peer support
- Life-skills workshops, including topics: safety in the
workplace, job interview skills
- Field trips and social events
- Weekly parenting group
